Grand Teton National Park and Jedediah Smith Wilderness
Stats: 39.0 miles / gain varied / 10,700 elevation
A fabulous 7 days backpacking the Grand Teton Crest Trail in Wyoming, 39+ miles with most of them between 8,000 - 10,700 feet.
Short hiking days but lots of time to explore. For much of the trek our views were impeded with smoke from the
Berry wildlfire, started
by lightning and entering the Teton Wilderness at Jackson Lake, closing roads to Yellowstone and surrounding areas.
